Mercer Business provides undergraduate students in the BBA program with a managed academic path to success grounded in majors and specialized programs of study within the following areas of business:

Mercer Business students often combine multiple disciplines into a single program of study to earn their BBA. One business student might study Entrepreneurial Small Business Management, combining marketing, management and accounting disciplines.  Another student might double major in accounting and economics, with a minor in math. It's also common for business students to combine foreign language courses with their programs of study, such as earning a major in accounting and minor in Spanish.

Mercer Business students are encouraged to take courses from all academic areas at Mercer to complete their specialized degree plan. A management student with aspirations towards law school might incorporate classes from the Political Science Department in the College of Liberal Arts (CLA). An economics student with interest in international economics might incorporate a foreign language major or minor from CLA into his or her plan. Marketing students can broaden their degrees by adding classes in media from CLA and technical communications from the School of Engineering.

Each student's managed academic path to success is specialized to his/her career aspirations. The depth and breadth of study available to Mercer Business students is unique. In addition to coursework, students engage in experiential learning opportunities such as internships, study abroad, and Mercer On Mission.  Mercer Business students graduate with skill sets needed to accomplish their career goals, and a degree that sets them apart from typical business graduates.
