Colloquium "Liberalism and the Fatal Conceit"
Four of our students, Oscar Martinez, Shane Buerster, Kyle Bligen and Samukai Sarnor, participated (and did great!) of the two-day discussion colloquium entitled “Liberalism and the Fatal Conceit” organized by the Institute of Humane Studies and co-sponsored by the Koch Foundation on 10/29 and 10/30, 2016. The event took place at the Georgia Pacific Building in Atlanta and gathered some twenty students from Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Kennesaw State, Clemson, Berry College, Florida State and, of course, Mercer. The discussions took the form of a round table moderated by professors Brad Hobbs from Clemson and Steve Gohmann from the University of Louisville.
Here is a picture of them at the colloquium with professors Gohmann and Saravia.
