Information Technology Services
A robust and constantly expanding infrastructure gives students the technological tools they need to complete coursework and stay connected. On campus, students access the Mercer network through both wireless and wired Internet connections. Our computing labs provide students with specialized software.
The school’s Canvas intranet site, Mercer’s web-based platform for instructional technology offers a wealth of resources helpful for classroom work and extracurricular activities.
The university maintains a health service for all students including those at the Henry County Regional Academic Center. Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) provides medical and mental health services to all currently enrolled Mercer students. These services are accessible at the Atlanta and Macon campuses. The SHAC staff works as an integrated treatment team to provide quality care. Most services are free of charge, and any costs incurred can be paid at the time of service or billed to the student account. Appointments are encouraged, and walk-in visits will be accommodated when possible. Our hope is to provide an atmosphere that is welcoming and respectful of the dignity and worth of all students.
