Dr. Ferré Carracedo earned her Ph.D in Economics form The London Business School, her Masters in Economics from the London School of Economics, a Diploma in European Studies from the College of Europe (Belgium) and a Degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona. She was previously a tenured Associate Professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain), where she taught courses in Macroeconomics and International Economics and Finance. Dr. Ferré Carracedo's research includes fiscal and monetary policy interactions within a monetary union and the analysis of central bank interventions in foreign exchange markets. She has published articles in international journals included in the SSCI and a chapter in book published by the International Monetary Fund. She was a Fullbright-Schuman research scholar in 2010-2011.
