The Combined MBA/MAcc degree meets the course requirements to sit for the Uniform CPA exam and for CPA licensure in the State of Georgia. Program structure
The Combined MBA/MAcc program is offered on Mercer’s Atlanta campus in a flexible, self-paced format:
- Meet for your course one evening per week
- Complete an entire course in an eight-week session
- Enroll in five eight-week sessions per year
- Take two classes per term to progress through the degree program more quickly
Professional development
Graduates of Mercer’s Combined MBA/MAcc degree program can go on to work as business professionals in positions such as:

I was drawn to Mercer’s Combined MBA/MAcc because the curriculum offers a well-rounded foundation. Seeking my CPA licensure, I wanted to earn my Master of Accountancy, but also saw an opportunity to set myself apart by earning my MBA as well.
Carrying out research on trending business topics, giving presentations, and working in groups tough me how to look at issues critically and work better in a team setting, thus exposing me to the evolving nature of the business world.
