Measure and inform business decisions
Students in Mercer’s Bachelor of Business Administration program in Accounting will learn all areas of accounting including: financial, cost, audit, taxation, not-for-profit, and governmental accounting. Our faculty combine classroom knowledge with real-world experience to equip students to succeed in their future careers. Mercer students are consistently passing the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam, opening the door for a wide variety of accounting positions.
Mercer students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of accounting settings to apply the skills and knowledge they learn in the classroom. Accounting majors may also take a service-learning course, where they serve the Macon community by participating in the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
