Entrepreneurship and Innovation Certificate

The ability to recognize and seize opportunities, innovate, and create change are skills valued across industries and organizations. Mercer’s graduate certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation provides a strong foundation of innovative thinking, creative problem solving, and business skills necessary for entrepreneurs and innovators. Through this four-course certificate, individuals will learn how to identify and evaluate business opportunities, develop a business model, form an entrepreneurial team, secure financial resources, and culminates with development of a full business pitch. Participants will learn concepts such as lean startup tools, the value proposition canvas, the business model canvas, and customer discovery to help transform ideas into business opportunities.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation graduate certificate, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an institutional accreditor recognized by the U.S. Department of Education with an acceptable level of scholarship. International applicants must submit transcripts and academic records showing the completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a foreign university. Mercer’s Office of Graduate Admissions evaluates international credentials in-house at no cost for applicants. Students must submit certified English translations of their academic records if the language of record on such documents is not English. Learn More
