Students studying economics at Mercer University will analyze production of firms, public finance (including taxation, spending, and regulation), and behavior of individual consumers. Our faculty guide students to understand both individual and aggregate tendencies, equipping them for success in their future business careers.
The Economics major is available as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree or a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. The BA in Economics follows the general education requirements of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, covering a broad range of disciplines. The BBA in Economics curriculum establishes knowledge of general business principles.
