Financial Planning
Federal Aid
Mercer University students who are U.S. citizens and permanent residents may be eligible for federal loans through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
How do I get started?
- Complete and submit the FAFSA online as soon as possible. The FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) determines eligibility for federal loans.

Outside Loans
Domestic students requiring need-based financial assistance are encouraged to apply for available need-based federal loans before applying for private education loans. International students with U.S. co-signers may choose to pursue loans through a private lender. Learn More
